PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)
XPEL Ultimate Plus
Clear, gloss finish. Protects against rock chips, scratches, bug acid, and bird droppings before they reach the paint. Self-healing. The foundation of what PPF should be.
XPEL Ultimate Fusion
Everything Ultimate Plus does, with a stronger hydrophobic finish built into the film. Water and grime shed off faster. Less effort to keep the car clean.
XPEL Stealth
Same protection as Ultimate Plus, with a matte satin finish. If you want the look of matte paint with a protective film underneath, this is it.
XPEL Color
Change your car's color and protect the paint at the same time. More protective than a standard vinyl wrap, with the same self-healing film underneath.
XPEL Armor (Add-On Only)
A 23-mil textured polymer film for surfaces that take real punishment. Rocker panels, wheel arches, rock rails. Mimics spray-on bed liner. Installed on targeted areas only, not the full vehicle.

Dyed film provides 12% heat rejection. Lifetime warranty against fading and bubbling. Primarily for privacy and shade. Not a heat rejection product.

This metallic film provides up to 32% heat rejection at a budget-friendly price, though some signal interference may occur.
XPEL XR Black (Nano-Ceramic)
Blocks 85% IR heat and 99% UV rays. No metal, no signal interference. Strong thermal performance at any VLT percentage.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
If vehicle has existing film, it would be professionally removed starting $100/hr before new film goes on. Clean surface, clean install.
Paint correction may require an additional fee for PPF and ceramic coating if the vehicle’s paint is heavily scratched, oxidized, or in poor condition.

What is paint protection film?
PPF is a transparent, durable polyurethane film applied to a vehicle’s exterior to protect paint from rock chips, scratches, bug splatter, road debris, UV damage, and environmental contaminants. Also called a clear bra. Both terms refer to the same product.
How do I know you are using the film you claim and not a substitute?
We are a certified XPEL authorized installer. Every product is manufacturer-authenticated and documented. Your warranty is registered directly in your name and verifiable with XPEL at any time. We record what went on your vehicle. If a shop cannot show you that paper trail, you have a problem worth knowing about before the install, not after.
Does paint protection film self-heal?
Yes, within limits. XPEL PPF uses elastomeric polymer technology that allows light surface scratches and swirl marks to diminish or disappear when exposed to heat or warm water. Deeper scratches that fully penetrate the film may not self-heal and could require professional repair.
What is the difference between ULTIMATE PLUS, ULTIMATE FUSION, and STEALTH?
ULTIMATE PLUS is the standard gloss PPF, 8 mil thick, optically clear, self-healing. ULTIMATE FUSION adds a built-in hydrophobic topcoat — water beads off aggressively without needing a separate ceramic coat. STEALTH has a satin finish that transforms gloss paint into a matte look while delivering the same core protection. Applying ceramic coating over STEALTH does not make it shiny.
Do I need full-vehicle coverage or is partial worth it?
Most real-world paint damage concentrates on the hood, front bumper, mirrors, and A-pillars. Targeted protection on those zones eliminates the majority of chips at a fraction of full-car cost. We assess your vehicle and how you drive before recommending anything. We do not push coverage you do not need.
My PPF is lifting at the edges. The shop says it is normal. Is it?
It is not. Edge lifting indicates contaminated prep, a rushed installation, or an uncontrolled environment during the install. We do not hand back a car with lifting edges and tell the owner to wait and see.

Will ceramic tint keep my car cool when parked outside all day?
No. Any shop that implies it will is setting you up for disappointment. Ceramic tint controls how fast heat enters the cabin while driving. A car sealed in Texas summer heat for two hours will still be warm. What changes is how quickly it heats up, how fast it cools down once you drive, and how much UV your interior absorbs over time. We explain this before every install.
What does XPEL PRIME XR Plus do?
XPEL’s premium nano-ceramic window film blocks up to 98% of infrared heat, provides strong UV protection, and maintains optical clarity without haze or night distortion. No metallic components means no interference with GPS, cellular, or radio signals. Lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, and discoloration.
Are your tint percentages Texas-legal?
Yes. Texas allows 25% VLT on front side windows, any darkness on rear windows, with specific rules on reflectivity and the windshield visor strip. We guide every client through the legal percentages for their specific vehicle before installation.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
If you want longer-lasting surface protection with less frequent washing and improved appearance, yes. Ceramic coating is not a replacement for PPF. It does not protect against physical impact. It is a maintenance and surface protection solution. Many owners use both.
Does ceramic coating protect against rock chips?
No. For chip and debris protection, paint protection film is the correct product. Ceramic coating improves surface slickness and UV resistance but does not absorb physical impacts.
What is the difference between windshield film, and window tint?
Windshield Protection Film is engineered for the exterior windshield glass to resist chips and cracks from road debris. Windshield Window tint is focused on heat reduction, UV protection, and privacy. 70% VLT is the only legal % for the front windshield and installed inside the vehicle. Not impact resistance. Each product has a different function.
